List of Plants

List of plants observed at Eaton Canyon:

Poison oak (Toxicodendron diversilobum)

• saw this at the very beginning of site and later on as walking around the paths of around  3 - 4 all together

California ( flat-topped) Buckwheat (Eriogonum fasciculatum)

• was very common around the area that we passed by 

Western sycamore (Platanus racemosa)

• saw around 2- 3 of the trees as we walked into Eaton Canyon

Red willow (Salix laevigata)

• one was around the observation site

White sage (Salvia apiana)

• saw a couple of white sage as we were walking to our observation site, around 6- 8

Whipple yucca  (Yucca whipplei ssp. parishii)

• saw one of these trees as we were walking to find an observation site

Coastal prickly pear (Opuntia littoralis)

• saw a couple of these cacti together in bunches of 2-3 

California wild cucumber (Marah macrocarpus)

• saw these around observation site in random groups scattered over the place

Mugwort   (Artemisia douglasiana)

• saw these plants near the more dryed out area of Eaton Canyon
