Animals seen at Eaton Canyon:
Squirrels
- saw two running up and down a tree
Butterflies
- saw one at observation site flying around a tree in the distance but was unable to identify it
Great Basin Fence Lizard (Sceloporus occidentalis longipipes)
- saw three of these lizards laying on rocks and later running off as Noelle and I got closer to them
Mule Deer (female) (Odocoileus hemionus)
- saw three of them, two were together, one was alone
Scrub Jav (bird, feathers blue and white)
- saw it sitting on a tree branch as we were walking by on a path
Purple Finch (bird, feathers rosy red)
- saw one flying by and noticed it by its feathers
Also seen : habitats of snakes and footprints
